A research for balance with problem solving attitude characterises my work. Within my current practice I investigate personally experienced - but universally known - obstacles, such as (changing) identities, (lack of) time or the (re)presentation of women in our society. Works, such as “Pillars of home”, “to make time”, “House/hold”, “The reminiscence of being a woman” or the “Mothers in Arts Residency” aim to give solutions for these obstacles. At the same time the nature of the work is highly playful and experimental. To give a new perspective I often play with the borders of nonsense with a constant attraction to physical and mental tension.
